Eco COMMITTEE

Our schools has a strong commitment to sustaining our environment. 

We are very proud of the eco credentials of our school building and our children will learn about ways that we can have a positive impact on the sustainability of our planet.  We have plans for some exciting community projects such as developing our school grounds to include a forest school area ; places to grow fruit, vegetables and plants and places to enjoy learning outside of the classroom.

We also have an Eco Committee set up of children and staff within the school. They meet regularly to discuss issues and share ideas on sustainability and how we can be more eco-friendly. They, along with the rest of the pupils in school, are helping us work towards gaining our Ec0 Schools Award.

Miss Eaton is proud to share some of the latest work on the Eco Committee. "Our team have been checking that our new food waste bins are being used, and everyone understands the importance of reducing food waste. Here are some of the team responsible for the hard work."
